Species Info:

The Planetarum Dragons are inorganic living creatures ruled by their own inner spirit (the core).

They don't have the proper material corporeality - they are ethereal in substance which can take only one predetermined look of the classical external anatomy of the dragon. That means they don't need to breathe or eat to sustain themselves alive, as well as they don't have any gender.

Planetarums are looked upon as benevolent creatures that maintain The Universe harmony. They prefer to be in outer space but can inhabit anywhere in general.

Features:
The Kronos is much more stronger, serious and austere Planetarum than others. The purpose of the existence of that Planetarum is to protect the other Planetarums, which means that this dragon is essentially the Universe Guardian. It has three giant rings which rotates around dragon's body and consist of gas and cosmic dust. These rings don't interfere with the flight because they may dissipate. In addition, the Planetarums rarely use their wings for flight - their inner cores support their own gravity and allows the dragon integument to float in any space. In case of danger, the ring system can be dispersed to a fairly high speed to become acute. The other ring-like parts of the Kronos (such as all horns, claws, "bracelets" and tail rings) are also very sharp. The stones surrounding this creature could be used as some kind of weapon as well - the inner spirit or the dragon can mentally control them and - if necessary - heat and disperse them to the state of "bullets".

Short story:
The Kronos Planetarum was born during the birth of the Universe. At the present time this dragon is at the beginning of its Guardian's path. This is why it's so serious and "always on the alert". When the other Planetarum can't defend itself, the Kronos rises to its defense and takes all the hit of the enemy attacks. With age, because of the frequent battles in order to protect other Planetarums, the rings will partially "delaminate", which significantly affect their size. The gas component of the dragon body will slowly dissipate as well, which will contribute to a reduction in the size of the dragon. By the end of the life of that Planetarum, dissipation of its gas and dust will be stopped and there will remain nothing but a disembodied inner spirit. This is the final stage of this creature in "that life" - the inner spirit of its body (an iron–nickel core surrounded by a deep layer of metallic hydrogen and liquid helium) is immortal in the mental sense. And therefore when the metal component of the core will dissipate in a planetary nebula after the dragon outer integument, the inner spirit will formed one more time into a new Planetarum, and it's probable that it will become the Guardian once again.
